Many times we are not sure if someone else has obtained the South Korea scholarship with our careers or by which university to start our search. Every year, the NIIED publishes the results of the applicants who have been awarded the scholarship on the website, but it is difficult to analyze the information. I have organized it a bit so that you can see which are the most popular degrees, which universities have received the most students and which are the most chosen universities by degree. These data are from 2019 and can be found freely on the official Study in Korea page. I hope to complement the information with this year's results very soon. The information that I show below are for MASTERS AND DOCTORATE. As there are very specific options I have tried to organize them by general blocks since I do this selflessly and for fun. I apologize if you see any errors in the tables or in the language and if you need more detailed information you can check the results on the official page. 🤔Who are the applicants of KGSP? 🤔

Includes the quota of universities and embassies. The quota does not indicate that the students will pass 100%. Some are rejected by the universities or the NIIED, problems in medical exams, application errors, incomplete research proposals or lack of applicants.
🧐 What are the most requested programs? 🧐
The results in this graphic do not indicate that only these programs are admitted to universities. The interests of each country with South Korea, the student's profile and their research proposals, also influences the results. I was surprised to find interesting programs like "fishing" or "naval architecture". The most requested careers were international business, Korean studies, business administration, computer science and public policy.
😬What are the universities with the largest number of applicants?😬
Eventually, the "SKY" universities are the ones that receive the most students and the ones that apply the most, followed by the universities dedicated to science and technology such as (KAIST, POSTECH, SEULTECH, UNIST, etc.). Sungkyunkwan and Ehwa universities also score high. I am surprised that universities with such a good reputation as Seoul University, Kyunghee and Inha University do not score as well and the fact that no one has applied to Hankuk University.

Many of the programs are very specific and it was impossible to make a graphic dedicated to them, therefore I reorganized them into more general subgroups of categories. If you want to know more detailed information about each program, it is better to take a look at the guides available on the official page. I made these graphics so that you can easily see which universities offer some of your careers and which ones are most chosen by applicants so that you can take a look of their curriculum on the websites of the universities. *Health: Includes public health, oncology, radiology, nursing, internal, dentistry, neurosurgery, dermatology, plastic surgery, Pediatrics, urology, ophthalmology, Epidemiology
